Remember
not too long ago when the only thing to do in Atlantic City
was gamble and go to the beach? With the addition of The
Walk Outlet Mall, visitors now have new ways to spend a
day in Atlantic City. The Walk encompasses a little over 4
square blocks in the center of Atlantic City at the bottom
of the Atlantic City Expressway. The Walk consists of over
75 shops and restaurants located in an easy to maneuver
area. The Walk features national name brand outlet stores
featuring all the designers you love like Tommy Hilfiger,
Banana Republic, Coach, Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, IZOD,
J. Crew, Kenneth Cole, Liz Claiborne and Polo just to name a
few. You’ll also find your favorite mall stores like
Carter’s Pacsun, Old Navy, Gap, the Disney Store and
Aeropastale. Shoes, sunglasses, leather goods, luggage and
books can all be found at discount prices.
All this
shopping got you hungry? There are seven restaurants
ranging from Applebee’s, McDonalds, Cavo Crapes, Subway,
Ruby Tuesdays and Amici Pizza to Melting Pot, Longhorn
Steakhouse and Ruth Chris. No matter what your hungry for
or how much you want to spend, you’ll find something tasty
at The Walk Outlets.
Word of
warning…..parking is an issue. Do yourself a favor and park
on the The Walk parking lot on Fairmount Avenue (just South
of the Walk). For $3.00 you can park in a safe well lit lot
and take a free shuttle bus to The Walk. Check out “First
Wednesday in AC” at the Walk. On the first Wednesday of
each month The Walk stores and restaurants offer discounts
and deals, from percentages off your purchase to free gifts
and prizes. It’s well worth checking out The Walk Outlet
Stores on your next visit to Atlantic City. |
