Lady Gaga is a Pisces and was born on March 20, 1986. She is an United States singer, songwriter and musician. Lady Gaga was born in Yonkers, New York although she grew up in the borough of Manhattan. She received her unique stage name when music producer Rob Fusari compared her vocal style to that of Queens Freddie Mercury and took the name Gaga from the Queen song “Radio Ga Ga”.

Joanne Germanotta learned to play the piano by ear at the age of four, she began performing at open microphone nights by age 12. When she was 17 Lady Gaga achieved something very special, she was one of the 20 music students in the world who gained early admission to the New York University’s Tish School of the Arts. This is where she developed and fine tuned her incredible writing skills by composing essays about the arts, religion and socio political order. This is where her life makes turn, she withdraw from university and never graduated. She then moved out of her parents house, and started hanging out in the Lower East Side of Manhattan doing drugs, and appearing in burlesque shows at dive bars with drag queens and Go Go dancers. Lady Gaga now admits that her father couldn’t even look at her and she says he simply didn’t understand what she was trying to do.

By the age of 20 Lady Gaga began working with Interscope records as a songwriter. She has written songs for the pop sensation Pussycat Dolls and a few other Top 40 groups. In 2007 Singer Akon recognized Gaga’s vocal talent, and signed her to his label Kon Live Distribution. She immediately started to work on her debut album. In 2008 she released her first album “The Fame” which was geared towards thought that ‘anyone can feel famous’. Her first single Just Dance (nominated for a Grammy) was a huge success and 3 more songs have hit the charts including Poker Face, Papparazzi, Bad Romance & Telephone.

Lady Gaga was influenced by Glam Rockers – David Bowie and Queen, along with Madonna and RIP Michael Jackson. Do you believe that Lady Gaga apparently changed her natural hair from brunette to blonde because people thought she was singer Amy Winehouse, LOL. Gaga’s stage performance is a blend of visual flare and musical talent with a dash of the bizzare, complete with strobe lights, multiple costume changes, cool dancing, flamboyante video, and much more.
